Sign Up for Free Mobile Banking! It’s Simple.
(Please note you must have an online AFCB account and a web-enabled cell phone with a text plan - normal charges may apply.)
Step 1: Log into your AFCB online banking account and click the OPTIONS tab
(top center of the page, above logo).
Step 2: Scroll down to the MOBILE BANKING section.
Step 3: Enter your mobile phone number, including area code (ex. 423-555-1111).
Step 4: Select your mobile carrier from the drop down list (ex. Verizon, AT&T).
Step 5: Select and enter a 4-digit numeric PIN* and repeat. Click Submit.
Step 6: Upon successful completion, you will receive a one-time link via text to your mobile phone.
Step 7: Open the text message and select the link to launch the web browser for mobile banking.
Step 8: Enter your username (same username as your online banking account – case sensitive).
Step 9: Enter the PIN you selected in Step 5.
Each time you log on to your account, you will receive another text message with a new access link.
The most recent text message link must be used each time you log into your mobile banking account.
*You will be responsible for maintaining your mobile banking PIN. When you choose your Athens Federal Community Bank
mobile banking PIN, be sure to keep it a secret.
Memorize it, or write it down and keep it in a secure place. Make sure no one watches you
enter your PIN and always log out of mobile banking when your session is complete.

Does Athens Federal offer a mobile App? |
No, Athens Federal does not currently offer a mobile App. However, the mobile version of your AFCB account is optimized and can be conveniently viewed on any web-enabled phone with a text plan, including all iPhone and Android platforms. |
If there are multiple people on my account with the same online banking log-in, can each person log into mobile banking using a different phone? |
No, each mobile banking customer must sign up for online banking using a unique user name and password to register different phone numbers for mobile banking. |
Can I be charged by my mobile phone provider when I use mobile banking? |
Yes, if your mobile phone agreement does not include text messaging and a data plan, normal charges may apply. |
How do I sign up for an online Athens Federal account? |
Go to Online Banking Sign Up. Complete the online registration form. |
How do I log into my mobile banking account if I accidentally deleted my last text message with the most recent log-in link? |
Go to www.athensfederal.com. Log into your online baking account, click “Options” at the top of the screen, scroll to mobile banking and enter (and confirm) your mobile banking PIN. A new text message will be automatically generated and sent to your mobile phone. |
If my mobile phone is lost or stolen, can my mobile account be accessed if the most recent text message with a log-in link is still on my phone? |
No, your AFCB mobile banking account is secure even if your mobile phone is lost or stolen because log in always requires an Access ID and Mobile PIN. |
