You can access your account from any web- or text message-enabled device.

Mobile Browser: For all web-enabled devices, you can use our mobile site optimized for mobile viewing. Simply browse to: and log into your online account.

Text Message Banking: You text us and we'll text you back—no smartphone or internet access required. For example, you text Athens Federal (CHKG BAL) and Athens Federal will promptly respond with a text (CHKG BAL $500). Account "short names" and texting commands are defined during the enrollment process.

Please note you must have an online AFCB account to enroll for mobile banking.
Be sure to have your mobile phone with you during the enrollment process.

  1. Log into your AFCB online banking account and click the OPTIONS tab.
  3. Choose TEXT MOBILE SETTINGS to set up text mobile banking and/or WEB MOBILE SETTINGS to set up mobile banking via the mobi site or App.

(Mobile TEXT Settings): Check to "Enable Text Access." Check to accept the terms and conditions. Enter your mobile phone number and choose your provider (i.e., Verizon, AT&T, etc.). Choose the accounts you would like to enroll for text mobile banking by checking the box next to each account. Add a "Mobile Short Name" to each account you enroll; this is how you will identify the account when sending a text message. Note the mobile text commands on the screen; this is how you will identify the information you would like to be sent to you. Choose SUBMIT. Confirm the information is correct and choose CONFIRM.
**You will receive a text message and must respond to the text message as noted on the screen to verify enrollment.

(Mobile WEB Settings): Check to "Enable Mobile Banking." Choose "Yes" or "No" to receive text message alerts (optional). Enter your mobile phone number and choose your provider. Choose the accounts you would like to enroll for mobile banking by checking the box next to each account. Choose SUBMIT. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm the information is correct. Choose CONFIRM.

On your Android or iPhone smartphone or iPad, simply search "Athens Federal Community Bank" in your App or Google Play store to install the mobile app.

If your mobile agreement does not include text messaging and a data plan, normal charges from your mobile provider may apply. Contact your provider for details.
